This is for homeschool high-school teenagers Only. - Ages 14 - 19 - In 9th - 12th grade - A guest of a Homeschooler.
Homeschoolers are some of the best students around. We know this reputation will be upheld at the Barn Dance.
There will be square dancing and a caller for part of the night. Then later there will be Christian and positive music later on. All of our music is pre-screened.
I agree to not participate in any of the below prohibited acts. If participation of any of these acts is found, disciplinary action will result depending on the severity. ○ Alcohol, Marijuana or other Drugs ○ Smoking, Vaping or use of tobacco products ○ Bullying, Cyberbullying (Includes Texting) ○ Criminal Acts ○ Damage to or Theft of Property ○ Sexual Harassment ○ Discriminatory Harassment ○ Fighting ○ Dangerous Weapons ○ Indecency
If you choose to leave the Barn Dance early, you can not return. Parents may be notified if you leave prior to the end of the Barn Dance. No refunds will be issued to students or guests who are removed from the Barn Dance. However, refunds are allowed on a case by case basis unrelated to those who are removed.
To attend the Holland Homeschool Barn Dance, both the student and parent must read and agree to the following policies. By purchasing a ticket, you acknowledge and agree to these expectations. Student I agree to abide by the Homeschool Barn Dance Policy and understand the consequences if I do not obey the rules. Students who refuse to comply with requests by chaperones to refrain from inappropriate dancing and/or behavior will be asked to leave the dance.
Parent HHE requests your assistance to ensure that all students who choose to attend the Homeschool Barn Dance adhere to what is outlined in the Homeschool Barn Dance Policy. Both the parent and student contract must be acknowledged in order for your student to attend. This means you have to read the Homeschool Barn Dance Policy and have discussed it with your student. S/he agrees to follow the Barn Dance rules for the dance. This also means you agree to support any consequences your student may receive for breaking any of the rules.
I hereby Release, Waive and Covenant Not to Sue, and further agree to Indemnify, Defend and Hold Harmless the following parties: Holland Homeschool Events, the Event Owners, Organizers and Promoters, other participants in the sanctioned event, Sponsors, Host Cities, Venues and Property Owners upon which the Event takes place, Law Enforcement Agencies and other Public Entities providing support for the Event, and each of their respective parent, subsidiary and affiliated companies, officers, directors, partners, members, agents, employees and volunteers (individually and collectively, the "Released Parties" or "Event Organizers"), with respect to any liability, claim (s), demands), cause(s) of action, damage(s), loss or expense (including court costs and reasonable attorneys' fees) of any kind or nature ("Liability") which may arise out of, result from, or relate to (i) my participation in the Event, and/or (ii) any INJURY, ILLNESS OR DEATH (including but not limited to INJURY, ILLNESS OR DEATH RESULTING FROM COVID-19) arising out of or related to the Event, and, with respect to (i) and ii), including claims for Liability caused in whole or in part by the negligence of the Released Parties. I further agree that if, despite this Agreement, I, or anyone on my behalf, makes a claim for Liability against any of the Released Parties, I will indemnify, defend and hold harmless each of the Released Parties from any such Liability which any may be incurred as the result of such claim.
