Holland Homeschool Events Spring Formal
The Holland Homeschool Events (HHE) Spring Formal is intended to be a joyful evening of fellowship, music, and celebration for homeschooled high school students. As a Christian homeschool community, we desire that this event reflect biblical values, modesty, and Christ-like conduct.
Eligibility
To attend the HHE Formal:
• Students must be homeschooled high school students
• Ages 14–19
• Guests may attend only as the guest of an eligible homeschool student and must also be high school age (14–19)
• Both criteria must be met. 14 and in high school. Not an 8th grader doing high school work.
Senior Ticket Priority
Because this event may be the final high school dance for graduating seniors, HHE provides a senior priority ticket window before general ticket sales.
A senior is defined as a student graduating during the current academic year.
During the senior priority window:
• Only graduating seniors may purchase tickets.
• Each senior may purchase one ticket for themselves only.
Senior tickets are intended to ensure that graduating seniors have the first opportunity to attend what may be their final homeschool high school dance.
After the senior priority window closes, general ticket sales will open the following day. At that time:
• Juniors and other high school students may purchase tickets
• Guests or dates of seniors may also purchase tickets, if tickets remain available
Tickets historically sell out very quickly.
Ticket Policy
• Each attendee must have a valid ticket
• Tickets must match the registered student name
• Tickets must be shown at check-in (digital or printed)
• Tickets are non-refundable (with the exception of extenuating circumstances).
• Tickets may not be transferred without approval from HHE
Students who are denied entry/asked to leave for violation of these policies will not receive a refund.
In order to purchase tickets and attend the HHE Formal, both the student and parent must read and digitally agree to the following terms during ticket purchase.
Tickets must be presented at the event either on a phone or printed.
Dress Expectations
Formal attire is required. Clothing should reflect modesty, dignity, and a desire to honor the Lord Jesus Christ.
Young Men
Young men are expected to wear:
• Dress suit or dress jacket
• Dress shirt

• No exposed midriffs or bare stomachs
• No see-through clothing
• No slits above mid-thigh

If there is any doubt about the appropriateness of attire, families are encouraged to contact HHE prior to the event.
Students who arrive in clothing deemed inappropriate may be asked to leave and change. If the student does not return appropriately dressed, no refund will be issued.
Dress Approval Option
Dress Approval Option (Optional)
If there is uncertainty about whether a dress meets the Formal guidelines, students are encouraged to request approval before the event.
Students may submit a photo of the dress to HHE for review prior to the Formal. This helps avoid the uncomfortable situation of being asked to leave and change at the door.
Photos may be submitted to:
